Origins
TGD is an innovative SME specializing in the research and development of cutting-edge ingredients for dietary supplements based on essential oils. The fusion of entrepreneurial spirit, scientific research, and internationally recognized clinical expertise is one of TGD’s key strengths, forming the foundation for establishing a leadership position in the nutraceutical market for essential oil-based products. The company was founded as a Startup from the University of Bologna, in Italy, with contributions from the Departments of Medicine and Biological Sciences. It is driven by the ambition to formulate innovative ingredients that help manage disorders or clinical conditions for which effective therapies or satisfactory treatments are lacking. Today, TGD can cover the entire development process of new dietary supplements for overall well-being, from preclinical and clinical scientific research to production and commercialization.
