
Founder and Scientific Advisor
Associate Professor at the University of Bologna, specializing in Gastrointestinal Physiology and Human Nutrition. His research interests focus particularly on the relationships between diet, intestinal microbiota, and low-grade chronic inflammation. He collaborates with specialists in the gastrointestinal field, particularly with the Regional Reference Center for Chronic Inflammatory Bowel Diseases at the Sant’Orsola-Malpighi University Hospital, as well as with various companies in the food and pharmaceutical sectors. He is involved in national and international projects and has authored over 100 publications in major scientific journals. Founder and scientific consultant of TGD, he is currently focusing his research on the development of new products for intestinal health and overall balance of the body.
